Winterizing is the order for this month. Securing exposed water systems, generators tested, ice scrapers in each car, etc.   Also, refer to the 'Prepare in a Year' page under the EMERGENCY PREPARATION tab at the top of the Home Page. The month of October is Earthquake Preparedness.

Fox Island's Emergency Preparedness team is busy at work improving the communication process for responding to emergency situations. Block Coordinators may be getting new equipment including GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) radios for communication during an emergency situation. That system is being tested now.
