The National Weather Service is forecasting high tides for the Puget Sound coastal areas of Pierce County on Saturday, 12/6. Minor coastal flooding is possible with water levels potentially rising to a maximum of two feet above ground level along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas.
Active weather next week will keep water levels elevated through Wednesday, 12/10 with possible impacts to low-lying areas.
SAFETY TIPS If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Make sure gutters and storm drains around your home are clear of debris.
