The National Weather Service is forecasting high tides for the Puget Sound coastal areas of Pierce County on Saturday, 12/6. Minor coastal flooding is possible with water levels potentially rising to a maximum of two feet above ground level along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas.
Active weather next week will keep water levels elevated through Wednesday, 12/10 with possible impacts to low-lying areas.
SAFETY TIPS If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
